For the last 34 years, Dave White has tried banking, employment and commercial cases in federal and state courts throughout the Midwest. His experience ranges from complex commercial cases and class actions to individual discrimination cases. He has represented clients before courts in over 20 states, and regularly advises employers and employees on employment and workplace issues. Now, after receiving training from the University of Missouri-Columbia and the American Arbitration Association, he is establishing himself as a mediator and arbitrator. He has earned an AV rating (the highest rating available) from Martindale-Hubbell. Since 2010, Dave has been recognized as a Missouri/Kansas Super Lawyer, following a peer review survey to identify the top five percent of the lawyers in Missouri and Kansas.
Dave currently represents Ward 3 on the Overland Park, Kansas City Council and has served as Council President. He serves on the Council's Finance, Administration and Economic Development Committee, as well as the Public Safety Committee. Dave also served in the U.S. Army and U.S. Army Reserve, retiring in 1999 with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Additionally, Dave has served on numerous community boards and committees, including:
